>>12400884dont even know where to start. bomberman 64 was my childhood. i wasnt just good at it, i made my siblings and cousins rage quit so hard we had to give them handicaps just to keep them in the game. didnt matter. id still win.the experience itself? unreal for a 90s kid. graphics: chunky colorful polygons that somehow felt way more alive than countless titles on the n64 at the time. gameplay: chaotic but fair, like someone took classic bomberman and threw it in a blender with 3d arenas and pure chaos. soundtrack? iconic. every map had music that stuck in your head for days. i still remember the world select and ice stage themes as occasional earworms in 2026.eventually played second attack and bomberman hero later and loved them all. but nothing hit like the first time you set a bomb, heard the chime, and watched your cousin's character fall into a pit screaming.also the cover art alone is enough to transport you back. who else remembers which map would instantly break a 4 player game into total chaos? i want answers. who else actually mastered this as a kid? dont even get me started on the power up spawn rng.

>>12400884Love the singleplayer but it’s balls hard. Don’t ever think I made it passed the dragon. As other anon said the ost is amazing. I listened to it all throughout 2024 and 2025 when I was playing wow classic. I got screwed over on multiplayer because my buddy’s second controller stick was fucked up. Moving left was impossible without jamming my thumb into it has hard as possible. I very rarely won, even w a working controller it would’ve been tough tho, he owned the console and I didn’t get my 64 until a couple years later.

64 is actually a better game than Hero but the soundtrack is too fire I miss it too much have to switch back to Hero.
