Can anyone help me identify the problem here? Hooked my snes up for the first time in years. Worked normal last time. Now it’s showing this crazy pattern on my screen. It like, flickers, it’s not solid/static. I think it has something to do with the console as I’ve tried different games, input ports, and even different av cables, cleaned my games, all with the same result.

Enter the problem into chatgpt and it will give you troubleshooting steps. It's pretty good at giving you a starting point.

Could be the capacitors in the system.
If you are using RGB, try composite, if you are using composite, try RGB to see if its better.

looks like a rare case of PPU failure in a SNES jr

misread the second image said SNS-101, not SNS-001. muh bad.
but, yeah, looks like a classic case of PPU failure

what cables are you using? RF, composite, s-video, or RGB shart?
The Ps2 you tested with, was that on the same input/input type?
