Spent 10 trying to remember the name of this old Java browser rpg that was on bonus.com when I was younger and I finally found a Webarchve date that had it. Dungeon Tales by some guy named Daniel Tremblay. it played like old ascii dungeon crawlers just with the mouse for everything, gameplay was simple just keep going down the dungeon to find a Princess and fight monsters, level up, sell loot but the game was so fun and simple. Spent years trying to find it when the memory came back to me, played other stuff like Gateway to Apshai and Wyvern Online but none of it was quite like this. I have no idea if the guy is still making games but my friends and I found a playable version of this on Flashpoint.

Any recs for dungeon crawlers similar?

Castle of the Winds looks like an inspiration for Dungeon Tales, I'm digging it so far and Exile looks interesting.
