Well, if popularity even matters for a fan translation of an obscure Japanese N64 game from 27 years ago. I feel like most people who care enough to play this are like me and would also care enough to do their research on which translation to use.

>>12418220Fuck you, the fonts are great. The Jap version used multiple fonts and so does the deadsnare translation, keeping consistent with that. I also love how they redid the title to make the font more accurate. The other translation uses only 1 font for the whole game, on top of being a worse translation overall. It's really no contest.
I haven't tried the translations yet but I plan to do both, but, having played the japanese original, yeah, using different fonts adds to each character's personality. It being all the same font on the DC localization felt really lazy
