Other than ROMhax and fan translations, what made that site so special? I just use those sketchy sites at the top of Google that you have to do things like try a download link 2-3 times before it shows the right file instead of an exe. Sometimes they'll drive by download on you but just stop any download you didn't ask for. Checksums check out, only the game file in the zip? Good to go.

Is there a CRC list of the files on Myrient anywhere? Some of the larger files have stopped and needed to be resumed dozens of times. A few even got completely stuck and no matter how much I stopped and resumed them would not progress, requiring me to delete them and start over. Want to make sure they didn't get corrupted throughout all that, apparently it got to the point that the USB drive was being overloaded with concurrent downloads.

I don’t get why libretro provides the Sega Naomi 2 REDUMP DAT file instead of the MAME one; Flycast on RetroArch uses the MAME version, but apparently the standalone Flycast can run the bin/cue files. To me this is the most pure and extra virgin retardation, Why would they host a DAT for REDUMP at their Git when it actually requires the MAME set, and RetroArch only downloads an .rdb file that doesn’t include a database for Naomi? Anyone have a Jdownloader guide (a lot of YT guides that cover almost nothing and I can’t listen to an Indian accent for even 3 minutes without wanting to claw my ears off)? It was working fine, not downloading anything big really I got virtual boy and n64 roms from just using the link all in one go, but now for some reason it completed only half of my psx run and I know I should already have Genesis nes snes etc but I was just going to move on from the psx and grab me some no intro sets but now all I get is a red icon where the download should be going. Mouse over doesn’t explain it and going by the several YouTube tutorials and looking at google for an explanation yielded nothing on the icons meanings and why it just stopped. Managed to download the n64 Roms in total in about 45 minutes and my speed for psx was fine, only would’ve taken 3 hours but yeah now it won’t move at all. It’s probably user error I guess but so weird that it just suddenly stopped working and I can’t even download a small amount of files like less than 2 gigs as in the case of the snes roms.

Just archiving what I can to a 2TB external drive I am just going to keep in storage for when it's needed. Got the Nintendo Gigaleak and Gamefreak Teraleak files, those alone take up a over half the drive. Got a few random things here and there I was interested in, and now I have about 180GB free.Was wondering if anyone else had any suggestions for anything interesting I could backup in that remaining 180GB. Not really bothering with things I can easily get elsewhere like just about anything from Redump or No-Intro. Was considering maybe the Touhou set but stripped out of most fan content so it would fit, but there are probably better things I can do with that remaining space. What is that "Hardware Target Game Database" listing? Seems to be just random games, hacks, and homebrew for a few dozen systems. Or any really tiny No Intro sets that are just a few megs, or few hundreds at most, that I can toss on there just because they are so small and would take up almost no space for obscure or less popular systems.
