Which is better? I've heard the PS2 version has some gameplay improvement but it looks like dogshit and the SNES game looks prettier.

Eww, clear win for the SNES

Damn
Yeah, the SNES version is way more pleasing visually
>>
The PS2 games were very cheap outsourced games that they used to experiment with their new engine that they later used in Ys6 and Ys: Oath in Felgana.

SNES is better but it's still a huge downgrade from the previous games 2bdesu

>piss or shit
That said, SNES
>>

One of the weakest entries in the series. Boring fights, lame music.

Just play both and decide for yourself. For your info, only the SNES game was made by Falcom and it's mostly a breeze to go through, so I prefer it. The PS2 remake is 1/3 SNES plot, 1/3 original story draft and 1/3 new content.

Did the ps2 remakes use the nepishtim engine?? They look/feel completely different
>>

No, they weren't even made by Falcom.
