This game stood the test of time better than any other game.
>This game stood the test of time What does that even mean if modern games are shit
>>12446009I remember dropping this after a while but want to give it a go.Midway was kinda cool like that with experimenting with new IPs.Plan to pick it back up eventually.
Ah the era of physics driven games. Psi-Ops had it all, showing off the juicy havok physics with flailing soldiers firing off every which way, to throwing props around, to also throwing soldiers around. And throwing exploding things around.Hey you can even set things on fire. Yeah apart from the innovative teeter-totter puzzles of HL2, that's basically what physics driven games peaked as! And it's a fun time.
>>12446030>Midway was kinda cool like that with experimenting with new IPs.They barely did that. Psi-Ops was a rare gem in a sea of cheap follow-the-leader games trying to ride whatever was hot at the time. At least that's what they were doing in between making increasingly shitty Mortal Kombats that were basically on a Madden timetable.Midway made amazing arcade games but the second they transitioned to consoles they completely lost their edge. They couldn't adapt.
A CHALLENGER APPROACHES
>>12446686Free radical… but codemasters.. this and non retro ps3 game they did faze or something I still need to try out of respect for all the good times I had w friends playing the timesplitters games.I heard second sight is inferior to psi-ops but still worth a play. Checked out psi-ops on release because GameStop worker but I think these released not to far apart iirc and I didn’t ever try this one out. Need to correct that.
>>12446674Shitty post, Midway was always based and fantastic.
>>12446009Okay, this looks cool.
It’s fine. The end felt rushed and bad.

Cool concept terrible execution. Telekinesis felt so weak
