This happens after Sophitia already received her oracle from Hephaestus and visited the temple before she set out on her journey. One is that nothing ever changes physically about the temple and it only appears as a beautiful and complete building to holy warriors. The other is that the temple was physically restored, but Siegfried came there, fought Sophitia, and turned it into a pile of rubble again. This is what it looks like when Siegfried fights Sophitia in his Edge Master Mode, but it's uncertain whether that encounter is canon. Siegfried cuts through some pillars to search inside them and finds Atlas Sword. The description that one of the Spanish adventurers provides mentions pillars cut by human(s) (as opposed to gods). I think that later games likely retcon whatever explanation is true. The Shrine of Eurydice always looks immaculate and is never referred to as "ruins" again in any of the SoulCaliburs EXCEPT SoulCalibur VI where the narrator says "ruins of the Shrine of Eurydice" once in Cassandra's Soul Chronicle (but the stage itself still looks extremely tidy). In any case, the number of individuals confirmed to have visited it during the time span of the entire series is probably less than a dozen. Only Sophitia and maybe Rothion use it to pray.
