Try not to run over the Hare Krishna challenge: impossible
>>12457387GOURANGA!
Did they have to change them to elvis impersonators in the second game?
>>12458796Hare Krishnas were still in the second game
>>12457387What is that sewer about, IT reference?
>>12457575GTA 4 had a reference to this onlinewhen you killed somebody, there was a list of verbs the game would use to describe it in the popup depending on what you used to kill them with. if you ran someone over with a car, one of the options was "gouranga'd"
>>12458796>elvis impersonatorsUltimate boomer humor. I can't describe how boomer you have to be to find this funny or amusing.
>>12460781x2 - totally sucks
>>12460781British humorhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vWSi44ZTSw
>>12460781I thought it was funny as a kid.
>>12460781Gen X here, Elvis impersonators are pretty fucking funny. I suppose you had to be there.
>>12460781Theres lots of that in 90s movies and shows
>>12460781Elvis impersonators were still a thing in the 90s.
>>12460781not even my parents were Elvis fans and I still thought it was funny. Same for the Elvis jokes in Eminem music videos.
>>12460781>Ultimate boomer humor. I can't describe how boomer you have to be to find this funny or amusing.Maybe you should stay with your skibidi toilet 6 7 Loli anal gape humour
Elvis impersonators are still a thing right now this very moment. I was at the "Welcome to Vegas" sign a few days ago and there was a pretty crummy one in full Aloha Elvis garb at 10 AM or so hustling tips. Someday he will be forgotten no doubt, but that day is still very far from now.
>>12462795What if I like some Elvis songs, but I also like lolis?
>>12460781>he wasn't alive during the time when Elvis impersonators were culturally relevant and some people legitimately believed Elvis could still be alive among those impersonatorsI'm sad for you, anon.
>>12462795Anal gaping is timeless, anon.
>>12460781is that like disco sucks jokes?
>>12460781We had Eilert Pilarm as our designated national Elvis Impersonator in Sweden in the 1990s and 2000s, and we weren't just some outlier in that, Elvis still carried a lot of currency. Even today, they still have shitloads of Elvis impersonators (of varying levels of quality and style) in Las Vegas, because that's been a big part of their tourist trade and certain casinos's image. In terms of famous musicians, he was the forerunner to Michael Jackson, mega popular around the entire world, hugely influential, massive record sales. That shit didn't go away just because he died. Similarly, I'd say a lot of his music holds up as well as Michael's.
>>12466590That clip makes me sad that they didn't give The Kings any proper screentime in the Fallout TV show. I mean, the last season spent a fair bit of time in Freeside, but they only had a few Elvis ghouls pop up once, and then the streets were empty because of plot. they could have had one or two in the crowd that came out towards the end
>>12466436Then you're Elvis himself or literally every rockstar before the 2010's
>>12460781You're right and I don't know why everyone else is yelling. >but 90's movies!literally written by boomer>but gen xxoomer>they're still a thing! In Las Vegas, no shit. The place that turned him into a fat drug addict.
>>12466621You suck
>>12464419Elvis is just really fun to impersonate. Sometimes I just let out a "thank you very much" without even realising it.
>>12466621Samefagging faggot.
Is the gameboy color version of GTA any good? I'm in the mood for something obtuse.
>>12466939>NO ONE could have similar opinions! Was your dad an elvis impersonator or some shit?
>>12467448I'd say it's technically impressive (GTA on a device with roughly the same computing power as a smart dishwasher), but not that great to play.
Why are they like this?
>>12460781satirising Elvis (and other boomer cultural icons) is a Gen X thing. Gen X absolutely DESPISED boomers and built their entire culture around ripping boomer identity apart. Go watch any movie or TV show or anything really that was made in the 90s, it's all just savage takedowns of the 50s.
When I was a kid I thought they were joggers.>>12460781Right.
>>12468605>DESPISEDStrong words, I wouldn't say despised. We thought that shit was funny though
>>12468605I don't think your generalisation is very accurate anon, and despised sounds quite extreme. Did a boomer touch your jelly bean or something?
>>12468605That's really not true.>>12468636Anon was definitely touched.
