No one asked for it, but I translated the original DES BLOOD into English.I was curious about ILLUSION's early work, so I decided to take on the task. Nearly all of the dialogue is audio-only, so I transcribed all the audio files and then hacked the assembly to overlay subtitles. Alt-tab causes the game to crash, and the content is spread through two discs, so I also hacked the assembly to remove disc checks and look for all files in the current directory.If I had to describe the game I would call it "Snatcher, if Snatcher was shit". The more I play the game, the more I hate it due to light gun shooting sections that are presented as constant random encounters in certain areas, but there are also some legitimately hilarious cutscenes. All in all, if anything it's a piece of gaming history.I'm getting very close to completion but I don't know how to distribute the patch. I don't want to post it on my GitHub because I don't want adult content associated with my professional image.
