Are they worse than emulating the ps1 versions? Can they just be played as is without any extra mods? I want to find the easiest way to play these games to recommend to a friend.

Not sure if the other 2 are like this, but one seems definitely to be much easier so if ur recommending them to a friend maybe they won’t get frustrated and quit as easy as just emulating the first one. I would recommend emulating Director's Cut, solely for Advanced mode (for replays, obviously).
