Midway even ported the trilogy to GameGear. We only missed Special Forces and Mythologies Sub-Zero; Midway did us a favor by ducking SEGA with both games. They really knocked it out of the park with Gold, as well as Ultimate and 3 on the Genesis.

And that's a good thing. You don't deserve a free dial a combo for a simple jump in. You only deserve it for catching your opponent in a stun move or having balls for a run in combo. UMK3 is gay for being scrub friendly

Mortal Kombat II on the 32X is easily the best version of MK2, and the same goes for Mortal Kombat Gold. Mortal Kombat on the Sega CD is a solid port, though the loading pauses hurt the experience; even so, it’s still a much better conversion than the Mega Drive and SNES versions. I haven’t played UMK3, MK3, or MKT on the Mega Drive or Saturn.

I wouldn’t say so. It was filled with bugs when it came out and the fixed version is extremely rare.
