Why does the jump feel so bad compared to every Castlevania game?
It's a little stiffer than the NES games I guess.I like Dracula X though.
>>12471246I like it a lot. There is a different of speed, jumping makes you go faster than walking, something a lot of action games do but the difference is very noticeable in Dracula XX. I like it because it adds a dose risk/reward and you can use it to quickly go out of harms way, although the backflip also works for that.
>>12471254>It's a little stiffer than the NES games I guessYou can adjust your jump a little in Dracula X. You can't in the NES games.
>>12471832the extent you can adjust your jump is so limited that it doesn't make up for how slow and vertical it is. dracula x controls pretty differently from rondo.
>>12471925It works fine if you want to make a smaller jump. In the NES game you only have the standard fixed jump. And the verticality is beneficial since Dracula X is the most vertical classicvania game
>castlevania 4 lets you use the subweapon with R>Shitcula X goes back to up + attackwhy? why would anyone want that? are they fucking stupid?
>>12471935my point is it's stiff.
>>12471246Leon, Christopher, Simon, and Alucard. Who should I make next?
>>12471305Dracula X feels easy.Gameplay density is low due to long empty hallways with not enough enemy spawns, and not enough surprising enemies either.
For me it was like they didn’t take the jump into account when they designed the stages, Richter makes this massive leap and all the gaps are super small, it just felt weird to navigate
>>12471832You're right about that, actually.>>12471925You don't get much air control, no, but it still helps a little.>>12471940I was stiff just half an hour ago.
>>12472386But enough about Rondo.
