That's the ugliest interface I've ever seen. There used to a be big frontend community around emulators but with a few exceptions it's pretty much gone now. I remember Hyperspin looking pretty good but they kept assets behind a paywall so it was impossible to set up from scratch unless you pirated a pre-made setup.

ya that's fucking terrible. looks like someone randomly dropped ui elements everywhere and called it a day

I NEEEDDD MY UI TO LOOK HECKARINO LIKE THE CROSS MEDIA FROM MY CHILDHOOD!

lol. I sometimes forget retards that can't understand Retroarch, like conservative voter level retard, post here to try and pretend it is bad. False flagging no less with fake screenshots or mad bad on purpose shots like OP.

What's wrong with it? Looks cool

Change the background to be a solid color and have either the box art or the disc on the right but not both.

pcsx2 2.0 > duckstation > dolphin > 3ds/switch emulators (they all have same menu) > ppsspp > retroarch (every menu style because maintaining playlists is aids) > file browser

Launchbox is still around

This is it, I just want all my games visible and available at a glance. It's not that fucking hard, make it prettier AFTER that part is done.

It's like clicking through individual folders to get to the file you need over just searching for it. That's psychotic.

What would you recommend for nes and snes games? Because none of them I found seem to have guis that select games based on boxart like retroarch does.

mesen has something like that. it shows a screenshot of a recently played game and when you click it continues from where you left.

Attract Mode is alright, for a Hyperspin alternative

Personally I prefer their retro gui over default fake psp crap.
Simple, sensible, easy to use.

yeah, not sure if that's one build but if that happens the screen has frozen, press enter to change the aspect ratio and then you can use everything normally, including changing the aspect ratio toggle back

Hey I coincidentally beat this game last week. Kind of poorly designed but it was a decent short play.
