Was just going through my list of NES games on my MiSTsd and was like "what the hell is Mitsume Ga Tooru?" Booted it up and beat it in one sitting. Pretty fun game, it's like an easier, more polished of Shatterhand or Mega Man. It's a Natsume game, so can't really go wrong there.

What are some NES hidden gemmies you've been playing lately?

This is one of my favorite Famicom games, it's from the creator of Mega Man. This game is based on a series from Tezuka (Astro Boy creator), I checked out the anime after playing this game and it was entertaining.

I mean everyone knows Mega Man 5&6, Kirby's Adventure, Little Samson, and Duck Tales 2 and those came out around the same time or later.

More likely it's not known because it was just never localized

Yeah it's a really good game, I mentioned it several times in FC/NES rec threads.
Also, Sharaku, the protagonist of Mitsume ga tooru, is the main antagonist in Astro Boy Omega Factor for GBA
