So I beat Dino Crisis 2 and got the ending where it's left ambiguous what happens so I assumed I had to play better and get all the dino files to get the good ending. It's the same thing, it cuts off in the middle of Dylan and his future daughter getting crushed no knowing if Regina saves them. That's it? That's the ending? What the fuck were they thinking? Did they bait a cliffhanger hoping they could force a sequel because of demand to know what happens?Does 3 follow up on this or is it dropped for dinos in space?
>>12472346Is this even a survival horror game? Isn't this just an action game?
I thought the same thing back in the day and finished the game 5 times at least with all sorts of game ending screens but same bullshit ending
>>12472447Its trash. 1 was mediocre
The story in 2 is so fucking trash I don't know why anyone would care. But yes, the thought that the writers of this blonde faggot original character do not steal and his down syndromed daughter thought that his shit was so brilliant there had to be a sequel is pretty funny.
>>12472346Dude its not that deep. Its basically an arcade game. Do you care this much how Pacman ends?
>>12472447Pure action game, no real exploration either. It's about combo kills, avoiding damage and getting max points which let you get more weaponry that expands your firepower.>>12472830If Pacman was in the middle of saving Mrs. Pacman from the ledge of a skyscraper while the ghosts were closing in, then yes. I want the resolution if they planted that scenario.Setup needs the pay off, there was no pay off, only implied pay off.
>>12473245There's some exploration and back tracking though
Waere 1 a surviving horror
>>12472346You need to consume more media, OP.Obviously Regina comes back to save them just in the nick of time. In the sequel we never got.Hope this helps you sleep better tonight, OP.
>>12473249Backtracking yes, exploration not really, the game locks you into sections by restricting things like keys and who can go which path with Dylan's machete being needed to cut doors with vines and electric locks requiring Regina's electro baton. Also when you switch characters not being a choice but a story requirement.Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the game but it was not what I was expecting and anybody that wanted a continuation of 1 might be disappointed.
