Another aspect I really loved is how it told the story thru quick wordless cutscenes. You knew everything you needed to know without reading constant text boxes. Best overall ost of the series, huge replay ability, fantastic graphics, great bosses, etc. Only thing I would have changed is the zone select screen. A more interactive floating island showing where the zones are ala Yoshi's island would have been way more interesting.
I agree, it's also much better than Sonic 3.Standalone Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles are the better experience than the lock-on novelty joint that takes away content.The only use the con feature has is if you want to see the short Knuckles exclusive sections in Sonic 3, or fuck around with Hyper Tails on S&K. Otherwise, meh.
