The final level is shit...(Game: Tsumi to Batsu)
I like the game a lot but holy shit does it kick my ass, any advice? I'm stuck on the ship level, with the plane that fires the two orbs and then the electrical thing on the ground
>>12477257Only ever use manual aim as it does way more damage (not one single spot where lock-on is better if you're halfway decent at aiming)timing on the melee doesn't matter, just mash it or preferably use autofireMake sure you have controls configured properly, you should never have to take either thumb off the movement/aiming while playing, all movement abilities should be on the shoulders/triggers
>>12477287I find lockon useful on segments where it's more vital to dodge than to do big damage, like certain boss phases or segments with fast and hectic platforming
>>12477707Like what sections though?
>>12477708Like that one mini boss in 2-2 that goes away and shoots several beams/bombs at you and each time it gets faster. Trying to aim and dodge at the same time would be a good skill display but it's just more practical to use automatic to do chip damage to the boss while you focus on dodging all the shit.It doesn't make that much of a difference anyway because like 90% of the damage to the boss is inflicted by melee attacks when it comes to the ground
playing missile command against the moon is fucking awesome
>>12477716>moonIsn't it a literal Earth Mimicry? Or it was the moon transformed into an Earth replica?
Is the sequel any good?
>>12477801Yes
>>12477801Yeah, and despite some stuff I liked more about the first game I think the sequel is overall the better game.
>>12477249>(Game: Tsumi to Batsu) is the Japanese name?
>>12477801Very.I would say it was Treasure's swan song.
>>12477887Sin and Punishment, the best 64 game
>>12477707No. You learn to do damage while dodging, that's why auto aim is a crutch, it deals WAY less damage so even somewhat accurate aiming is far better. You will never learn the skills if you use the crutch, plus it's a pain to switch back and forth constantly.
>>12477249Yeah, definitely, but so are all the levels so I guess it evens out
>>12479138>/vr/ when they actually play a single retro game for once instead of watching morkLMAO
>>12477249I specifically remember the final level being cool as hell. The whole game is cool as hell.
>>12479036I know what you mean and I do use manual aim while dodging for most of the game but there are some specific parts where manual or auto doesn't change much and where it's just more convenient.Switching is just a button press and again, it's not that I constantly switch, but I do make some use of auto here and there.
The final level is awesome and pulling an Earth defender bonus is epic
>>12479146>when they actually play a single retro game>makes a shitty thread and dances around actually discussing it or posting gameplay and just demands others validate their opinion insteadWhat were you even hoping this thread would be
>>12481658>oh my science did you seriously not stream>how can you play games without proofLOL
>>12477249Don't forget about shooting down the giant missile
