>>12483179Meh, I still prefer 3D for arcade style sports as well. There was The Bigs on PS2 and Ken Griffey for N64, and Mario of course. Only truly fun 2D sports game I've ever tried was NBA Jam, but there wasn't much else like it out there (and even then NBA Showtime is almost as fun).

Bases Loaded series is decent but the fielding is kind of shitty and I don’t like the batting as much as the games I mentioned. Griffey Jr is the goat arcade-y 2d baseball game.
