I see Doom's save feature and how it lets you carry weapons between levels the same way, but tryhards insist that you HAVE to pistol start and that you can't savescum, or you're not playing the game properly. Oddly, I don't see as many people complain about people who use vertical mouselook, which isn't even a feature the original game shipped with.
