I beat it on a 3 day rental, so I wasn't filtered but I still think that level was unfair and badly designed. It was very obviously the kind of level developers would add just to try to keep kids from beating it in a single rental, witch they also failed at. The rest of the game is fine and not that hard.

The first time I played it was similar, me and friends we rented it and we took turns going through. They all hated it which is the typical reaction I've seen over the years, but I always thought it was pretty fun playing with the physics.

It looks incredible but it suffers from the typical western platformer problems such as jank hitboxes/hit detection and lack of good feedback when hitting enemies. Another example of this would be Genesis Aladdin

of course they didn't skimp on the visuals while Japanese platformers usually have at best functional graphics. never mind the gameplay is meh, but it looks great.
