>Graphics
IV but it's close. If someone said Rondo I wouldn't be mad
>Music
IV which is weird since Rondo is the game with CD audio but the SNES sound chip was no joke
>Level design
Rondo
>Controls
IV. Best controls of any classicvania
>Difficulty
In terms of challenge, Rondo. People undersell IV's difficulty but it's still not particularly hard until you get to the end. Rondo is just right. Still a somewhat tough game but tuned down from the assrape that was CV3
>Boss fights
Rondo. IV has some quality boss fights but almost all the bosses in Rondo are good and you get a classic CV boss rush in the middle of the actual game which somehow turns out not to be too brutal because they thankfully put a checkpoint between it and the Shaft fight.
>accessibility
IV. Available on a lot of platforms and the original carts can still be found for relatively cheap and use passwords so you don't need to worry about batteries. Rondo was never even localized for the US in its original form and even if you're okay with japanese imports you'd need a working Turbo CD or Duo so good fucking luck with that. Only other options are PSP or PS4 ports.

Honestly I think it's pretty even and could go either way. I prefer IV myself but I have some nostalgia for it that gives it the slight edge. Neither is across the board superior or inferior to the other so it's a matter of personal preference, really

You can't really compare Castlevania 4 and Castlevania 10.

>Rondo is just right
You are a casual. Rondo is far too easy.

>>12491791
both are babyshit-tier easy

I agree

for you

4 is still harder, which is ironic when people use the "too easy" card for it but not Rondo.
>>
both are great but I like rondo a little more

Yep, Rondo is the easiest mainline CV game. Not even so much easy just a ton of dead air and really poorly balanced. That one bridge section as Richter is complete bullshit though, worst section of any CV game
