So i have an HD capture card now and i use my DVD recorder as an upscaler and capture footage on OBS, any tips to help me de-interleace the footage, as i need this for my streaming set ups.

Most software de-interlacers look like shit, you might want to get a "real" scaler and capture that progressive scan output instead.

Get a real upscaler at least, one that doesn't add lag, a RetroTink Mini is fine.
