What's the best retro Marvel fighting game?Pic possibly related.

>>12496436That's not Marvel.
>>12496459Red Earth, then. I've definitely seen dinosaurs in the comics before.
Were any of them actually balanced? Feels like everything had at least one character that was busted or multiple infinites depending on the version, but I guess the best would be based on what you're looking for. Boring answers, but to me:>Animations : CotA>Fun: MVC1>Wild Ass Shit: MVC2>Awful but somehow still really neat: MvC1 (PS1)Just go play them and decide which one you like best.
>tfw these are the best looking fighting games>can't play most of them because of the extreme flashing
>>12496507Wasn't the flashing tied to dipswitches on some of them? Could be wrong but I'm pretty sure modern collection bad and whatnot but I think they made it an option on that/ Don't remember which games originally had it hard coded tho between arcade and console versions.
Are the X-Men v SF games good?

There's a weird one for PC and it has a bunch of 90's d-listers in the rosterI THINK it was published by akklaim
>>12496426For fun and not serious, it’s either ur pic or Alpha 3. But I’m a filthy casual at 2d fighters so… also Third Strike would get an honorable mention. My friend group really enjoyed SF3 so it got in the mix but was mostly Alpha 3 or MvC 2. I wish we could get some new 2d games from these franchises instead of endlessly repackaging them in “collections”. Also I hated MvC 3, it’s just awful, but I really couldn’t tell you why. Anyone else just really hate it and have an explanation? It should’ve been a slam dunk for a casual like me.
>>12498230I like MvC3, but wish the roster was better, ESPECIALLY on the Marvel side. Infinite makes it seem like a masterpiece by comparison, though.
