I wanna replay my old GBA carts, the Analogue Pocket is apparently kind of a luxury GB/GBC/GBA with a very nice screen. Is it worth getting one if I like those games?

I love mine, but the screen resolution, filters, and control setup prioritises DMG carts. GBA compatibility is kind of an extra along with the open FPGA cores.You'd be better served with an SP, or DS.

I have itIf you have physical carts, it's great. If you're gonna use it with things like a GameCube adapter or other GBAs, it's great. If you're gonna use it to emulate, you're better off with something else. There are other cores, but at that point you can save money with something cheaper that's just as good.IMO the ergonomics are shit. Hard edges and a weird weight balance. Handheld layouts have been solved for years and people are hung up on the retarded Gameboy layout.Oh, I forgot to mention that not all cores support sleep mode. GB/C/A do, and I think NES does, but SNES doesn't.

I bought the white one. The screen never ceases to impress me, I have lots of NES, SNES and Genesis games on it and its very fun to explore new games. It is not comfortable to hold for long periods of time. I was playing Kickle Cubicle and Kick Master on a flight for two hours and my hands started hurting. Perfect for RPGs and maybe like hour long bursts max of action games.

I like mine, but be warned that the dpad is not great. It's not awful, but for something with such a high price point, I was hoping for better. The screen is fantastic, and I like that it supports link cable.
