Which one was your favorite?

>>12501576
Link's Awakening is really good.
>>
The Oracles are straight up my favorite Zelda games

this
I'm not a fan of the NES games and I've never played ALtoP past the first dungeon
>>
>>12501576
mysterious hat is the only good zelda
>>
>>12501576
Link to the Past, it's the best game in the whole franchise.
>>
>>12501716
I was about to say LA, but honestly it is ALttP,
>>
ALTTP is the best Zelda game, period. It set a standard that has carried the franchise ever since. Even the modern titles can't get away from the tropes it created.
>>

LA > OS = OA >>>>> Alttp > Z2 > Z1

Eat shit and die

There will always be contrarians outs there, even with retro games.
>>
>>12501587
I never got into any Zelda but I beat both Oracles, very nice games, common Capcom W

Do you ever think about all the hobbies you could spend time on instead of posting bait on /vr/?

ALttP. Didn't we just have this discussion 5-10 times in the last week? I'm not explaining my reasoning again.
>>
SNES > NES > GB > GBC
A Link to the Past is the best game of ghe series.
Whilst Link Awekening is awesome, NES has 2 great Zelda games.
The Oracle games I don't care about.

Minish cap

Adventure of Link for the NES, it's pure soul.
>>
>>12502217
LoL imagine being a 2d zelda with awful 3d zelda tier gameplay density
>>
>>12501576
Looking at the entire franchise, and not just what's in your pic, I can say that I've found some enjoyment out of pretty much every title with the only exception being the older "zeldavania" style games. If I had to pick one absolute favorite, it would either be Minish Cap or LttP.
>>
I never really got anywhere in the Oracle games, probably I was playing them on an emulator, and while on PC I much preferred playing on Battle Net than playing anything on an emulator. StarCraft and Wc3 custom games were so addictive.

I don't get people who say L:A is better than ALTTP. Navigating the world is a chore and it is grindy as hell. ALTTP is perfect in its simplicity and elegance.
>>
>>12502518
Because the world in alttp is so samey and bland, white bread of zelda
>>
>>12502518
I played LA first so by the time I got to LttP it felt samey and boring. LA is still the only one in the series I actually finished.
>>
>>12501576
Original on NES.
ALTTP and Link's Awakening are distant 2nd and 3rd
>>
>>12501576
I don't really like any of those.
>>
>>12502518
i mean you can argue that LA is more simplistic than LTTP. it doesn't have the item/dungeon variety that the latter has.
>>
>>12502601
The world in LA looks much uglier and less organic. It's one big maze and every segment is gated by upgrades. ALTTP also has this to a certain extent but not nearly that much. You can go to the mountains or desert or swamp or whatever since the beginning. The world feels much more natural.

Based. The Capcom trilogy of Zelda games are pretty excellent imo, even if Minish Cap flags a bit at some points.
Seasons is my favourite too, with LA a close second. Love my lil nigga Dimitri.
>>
>>12502661
sure but it's just weird to praise LTTP for its simplicity when comparing it to a game that is objectively simpler in pretty much every way
>>
the two Oracles games. just pure Zelda, they look and sound nice, they are fun to explore/fight/puzzle in.

i wanted to like Minish Cap more, but something about it gave me a headache. maybe it was the extra dialogue or the main gimmick: you didn't SOLVE some puzzle by putting the pieces together, you just backtracked to a dedicated [Use Item Here] point.
