Bad games. Digimon World 2 and 3 are bad grindfests. 3 is even worse than 2 as it's just a hollow shell of a game.

I watched Digimon before I ever saw an episode of Pokémon. I was 3 years old and thought Pokémon was a Digimon ripoff.

But removing the Tamer aspect to be replaced with a power-rangers esque transformation drastically reduces it's appeal in the context of Digimon and highlights the biggest issue it had with its writing which are the characters.
