Why wasn’t there more RPG elements?
>>12505117I don't know but I'm getting annoyed as fuck by this asshole, I can get here regularly with 1 coin but fucking shit head ruins it
How many grammatically incorrect past-tense "Why" threads have you replied today, /vr/?Keep feeding the jeets. Let them know they're welcome here. Give a mouse a cookie.
>>12505117I can't get into this game because having to stop and pick up all the crap on the ground is annoying as hell instead of just auto picking up treasure as you walk over it like King of Dragons or Knights of the Round. You have to stand in just the right spot to pick up a single coin or accidentally pick something up instead of attacking and then get smacked in the face.
the 'role playing' elements in TRVE Dungeons & Dragons are you, the players, using YOUR skills (not improv theatre kid bullshit) to solve problems. reaction- and skill-based challenges are as close as that gets in a video game.>>>/tg/osrgcome home, white man.
>>12505117They wanted to make sure the game was fun action oriented, so can't have too much rpg elements
>>12505953You can pick up stuff in the ground by sliding, also if you execute command moves (ie. dashing attack, down+up, etc) you'll execute the move when pressing attack regardless of stuff on the ground. This isn't the kind of game where you can simply walk up to the enemies and mash attack mindlessly until they all drop dead. You have to mind your positioning, be on the move to avoid hazards and being attacked from behind. Think and use your tools. You have a slide, dashing attack, some characters have magic that makes you invulnerable for the casting duration and except for the Cleric everyone also has an instant invincible attack that costs a little HP.
