It's a fun ride, with a great soundtrack, different routes to come back to, and a run is only about five minutes.Whether Yu Suzuki's intentions were simply to make a pure driving game or a racing game, they decided five minutes was too long and greedily added a clock to catch people out. You must race against the clock, and it's game over if you lose that race, so it is in fact a racing game at its core.
