This was honestly a very rude thing to do to Bomberman. Relegated to a subtitle in his own game.
>>12507976Yeah it's not like Wario has done that before right? It's on-character, OP.
>>12507976It's kind of surprising that Hudson ended up getting absorbed by Konami considering all the work they had done with Nintendo. Maybe they didn't care about their IP since a lot of ex-Hudson staff joined them over the years.
>>12507985At least that one actually focuses on Wario.
>>12507976Goes deeper. The original release in Japan didn't have Wario. He was literally sprite-hacked in because NoA quickly saw him as the Game Boy's pre-Pokemon poster boy and wanted to push him harder.
>>12507976>>12507985Dang, that Wario's one rude dude.
I usually don't like bait one-liners but this one i gotta take a stand: bomberman ended here.Sorry bros, eat my dogshit opinion.
>>12508817But what about Bomberman 64?
>>12507985Imagine if Wario just eclipsed Mario full stop, the franchise stopped being about Mario right then and there and becomes the Wario franchise.
>>12508829In the 90s, it was entirely possible. Wario had the potential to rival Crash as the more wild and crude mascot for Nintendo in the later half of the decade, but being trapped on game boy killed that prospect. We needed Rare to attempt a 3D N64 game. I feel like they would have a good grasp on the character and humor.
>>12508828It wasn't the same anymore, 3D limited a lot of design possibilities. That was the draw for me.It could be argued bomberman 5 was already going into lazy territory because they recycled a bunch of shit and some of boss fights were clearly untested..And then uh... 7th gen came along and i don't care anymore.
>>12508849Bomberman 2/Custom Battler Bomberman is pretty good, but it's not retro. Personally, I think he had a good run until the sixth generation.
>>12507976honestly a great game
>>12509126It is, but it was a great game in Japan too, where it looked like this.
>>12509142i could not possibly begin to give a shit.
>>12508876I have yet to dwelve into bomberman's 6th gen voyage, i am still recovering from the nightmare inducing act zeroI fucking hate 7th gen.>>12509142I wasn't allowed to have portable consoles because "i'd lose them".And you know what? they were right. I lost my cellphone 3 times now in uber, that's how forgetful i am
>>12508846WarioWorld for the Gamecube was made by TreasureThey should have had Clover Studio or someone like that making Wario games
>>12509265>I lost my cellphone 3 times now in uber, that's how forgetful i amThat’s not forgetful, that’s flat out retarded. Do you place your cellphone on the seat next to you when you get in?
>>12507976Rude
>>12509302My brain just locks onto something like a heat-seeking missile and forgets everything else exists. It's been always like this.
>>12509326most people get around that by just developing habits to mitigate it from being possibleI think that anon is just wondering under what circumstances are you either not holding or pocketing your phone. If you're in a car, where else would it be?
>>12509337I probably fidget with it for a bit, leave in the seat and then lose myself admiring the world through a window/daydreaming or become too engrossed in a conversation.Honestly i don't even like using smartphones too much, so that's an aggravating factor, my brain naturally evaluates it as a not-so-useful object...Except almost everything requires one these days, specially banking or verification/checking in.Thankfully it's all biometric and i use password managers, so if i lose it, it's all "good".
>>12509384>Honestly i don't even like using smartphones too much, so that's an aggravating factor, my brain naturally evaluates it as a not-so-useful objectBased, keep up the good works. I hope you lose many more phones. If you could also lose the phones of people using to post on /vr/ that'd be great too thanks.
