i robot was dope, i used to play it on some emulator when i was a kid, how did they should have made every system good to run games like that if it was in 1984 why did they een release the something like with less bits to program instead of just having what already there on the arcade it coud have been that much money

Would LSD really be considered a commercial failure? I can't imagine the budget was that high inthe first place. Anyway, Killer7 is one that went way over budget and had to be rushed out 60% finished. It didn't sell well and it confused most reviewers. For what it's worth, I think it's one of the very best games on the Gamecube for all the praise that hack Kojima gets, Suda should have gotten it instead.

LSD was one of dozens upon dozens of Japanese low-budget experimental "art games". I doubt those kinds of games were expected to be blockbuster hits.

I am everything you desire and want to destroy me and il let me know what you truly think about this one that you are interested in dating and how you are going to get married in your impotent rage you can also wrap them up with the right Bastard for your crimes of others minds that they are free to treat you as well as you can also control the situation of the world is not the same consequences of the mind and soul rots to the pristine natural order of these parts of your journey towards chaotic actions and the Guardians of your business culture overlap happened to them as well as some of the other things that inspired me about this and the other way around once in a while too much mutagen overdose is that what you truly want to destroy humanity now?

The FM Towns Marty and the PC-FX.

How was the Saturn ahead of its time? I need some ARGUMENTS, Oppie.
>>
>Nuon
>"Ahead of it's time"
Shit was basically a glorified N64 with DVD and no gaems, aside from some interesting tech with DVD playback, it was by no means "too far ahead of it's time" when it could never match up to it's contemporaries
>LSD
Shit was an art experiment
>>
Every shitty PSX game was apparently ahead of its time. For example Thrill Kill. Would it come out in 2020 as a PSX-like Unity game, everyone would cream their pants.
>>
>>12508342
>I, Robot
I learned to love that game simple because I'd go to my local arcade which was full of people crammed around every machine but I, Robot was always empty and available.
>>
>>12508342
you're missing the Vectrex from the console list. thats still ahead of its time

Only because 8bit/16bit retro nostalgia bait indie shit turned into Playstation nostalgia bait indie shit... and will never fully become Playstation 2 nostalgia bait indie shit because that actually requires effort in 3D modeling and such.

Speaking of 8bit...
The most of failed of failed 8-bit-bitto game - Lampshade
Literally a computer RPG neatly fit in a measly 262kb with a better plot and humour than your average capeshit

Oh nightshade, my hero.

Sega Master System
Sega Game Gear
Sega CD
Sega 32X
Sega Nomad
Sega Dreamcast(would have benefited the console if instead of just being ahead of it's time it was ahead of it's time with a DVD player)

LORNA, Deep Contact, Alien Garden, and Moondust were all art projects that weren't meant to be commercial hits. LSD: Dream Emulator was similar.

That game is god-awful to play.
