Really shows the difference between an xbox exclusive and a PS2 exclusive

the original had an esoteric plot about fucking archaeomusicology and ancient sound waves or some shit like that, the sequel was pretty dumbed down in comparison
the locations in the first game were also more "dream-like" while the sequel was mostly just generic factory levels
characters, combat, and bosses were better in the first game too
it's really a strange case, not sure what they were thinking
