it’s a 10/10 and one of the best in the series. it has the longest, most satisfying story of any of the classic tank re games, and the best music in the series. refined puzzles, the most boss encounters, the best cutscenes. great locations that are interconnected, the atmosphere of the island and snowy areas are really fresh. this game is severely underrated and due for reappraisal and rediscovery as one of the best in the series.

Any game where you can soft lock yourself from beating the game is automatically utter dogshit and objectively bad game design. There's no excuse here whatsoever considering they made 3 prior games in the series that didn't have this problem.
