The fun machine will be 30 years old this year, I still play with mine, thanks to cheap flashcarts I've been able to play games I couldn't play back then like Snowboard Kids 2 or Rocket Robot on Wheels, looking forward to try Hybrid Heaven and Shadowgate 64.
>Nintendo, Rare, Konami, Hudson, TreasureNo, I don't need more.
Might be a controversial statement but i think The N64 is the peak of TreasureSin and punishment is their best game imo and Mischief maker,Bangai o are kino tooTheir Megadrive output is great too but not as good imo

>>12514103dawg those games are all really shitty what are you doing
every mystery dungeon game is the same to be but they're all comfy
Last N64 game I've played. Completely different game from the PC/¨PSX version, and in fact it's a lot harder, it feels designed for people who already played the original.Fuck the lives/save system though, it's very punishing in the late game. There is an entire episode with basically no saving, limited lives, and includes some tough boss fightsAnyway it's good
>>12514251Yeah Forsaken 64 is one of the hardest games on the console because of the save system and lack of lives (i forgot if you can even farm them).Still a sick game though.
>>12514263>(i forgot if you can even farm them)I think it's possible in a couple of levels but one of them is very early on
>>12514103>Jungle >shit is probably sitting on a lightbox and looks more like Atomic GreenHow did they get away with blatant false advertisement like this? The Jungle N64 is dark emerald green.
>>12514136Nice. This system has a great homebrew scene.
DASH DASH DASH
>>12514251Don't you receive checkpoints on almost every level with the controller pak? Haven't played this in years but still remember the intro word for word.
>>12514737you have to beat a few levels before you get to save your progress iirc
I need to sell mine, but I'm too lazy to pick out all the weird modded carts I bought during the pandemic.
