In my mind the equivalents on modern controllers are always start and select. No I will not press the home or share button or whatever - i'm pressing start.pic unrelated.
I don't really care if select got renamed to hamburger on your xbox controller or anything, the names are always just arbitrary. The only change I don't like is the PS4 controller because they basically actually removed select and replaced it with a shitty touch pad that's basically just a big awkward select button anyway.

The fucking X button sits right on where the shell is curved so it doesn't press down cleanly, the corners (where L1 and R1 usually live) are too sharp and L2/R2 are chibi buttons on the rear. The Dpad is about as firm and responsive as a tin of mushy peas and for some fucking reason L1 is convex but R1 concave.

>>12519836Taking screenshots to share with your friends is a pretty basic tenet of socializing through gaming. Even back when taking photos of the TV of funny shit that happened or of the end screen to show everyone you beat a game was pretty normal. If anything it's weird that it took consoles so long to gain such a functionality. You don't have to utilize it for social media shit, you can put the images on a flash drive.
