I have a hard time reconciling with the black bars on the sides on this setup. It's standard definition and it's on s-video here. It has component as well.I'll post more pics.

While I don't give a shit about black bars for 4:3 content, I have diagnosed OCD and I know what its like to sperg over meaningless, minute gaming bullshit. This makes it more immersive because it's properly contained within it's frame. I may show you a pic here of the tv in the dark, but you should know that camera lenses and your eyes work differently.The light emitted by the tv does illuminate your surroundings, bouncing at the tv itself and shedding a light to the front of it which makes the plastic edges and the black bars apparent.
