no the game is great and fun until the tedious and platforming gimmick heavy wiley levels. My first NES megaman btw. I think I like MMX more cause its more of a shooter.

Boobeam Trap is all-around bad, Wily Machine throws projectiles that are much bigger than their sprite and impossible to avoid in the 2nd phase, Guts Tank is a complete pushover.
The only issue with levels is Wily 1 requiring items at too many spots. The traditional boss rematch level is eh too, but in 2 the arenas being flat makes the battles different, at least. In all other entries it's lazy, unsatisfying padding.

The Wily levels suck every time. All Mega Man games stop being fun after the robot masters are dead, you can just stop playing at that point.

i hate ammo in this game. it isn't fun being punished for experimenting messing around with different weapons considering that all of them except metal blade (which by the way has infinite ammo) are inferior to the p-shooter. take for example atomic fire. it’s cool and lets you charge it, but eats ammo like candy which leaves you camping spawn for capsules before facing boss. so retarded and stupid, why
