Have you ever played video games on an oscilloscope, /vg/? Either digital or analog. Or has anyone used systems like Scopetrex to play Vectrex games without a Vectrex screen?

No, but it sounds interesting. I had a class where I made circuits with breadboards and hooked them up to oscilloscopes.

Seems like fun, but it's a niche that few tread.

I bet nobody on his board has an oscilloscope including OP.

I've played an actual Vectrex.

I'd recommend any anons with a real interest in videogame history find a way to try one. The display has a truly unearthly, almost hallucinatory quality.

Every kid who got his hands on an old school scope in the 60s, 70s, maybe even 80s has not only played games but made them. Nothing as sophisticated as tennis for 2, but kids who could make games with a stick had lots of fun playing game with scopes.

>I bet everyone on this board is an underage luddite like me.
Imagine being such a loser that you lose your bet because 1 in every 9001 posters here actually does.
