What do I play after Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore or Trials of Mana?
with your willy
>""subtle"" yt channel shill thread yawn
>>12519369Calm your tits faggot, I have no idea whose video it is. It was the best picture I could find that encompassed the series. I didn't want to use a singular game since my question was about multiple ones
>>12519359Secret of Evermore is the only answer here. Also fuck your shitty channel and kys.
SNES Mana games as a whole are just an embarrassing mess of bad game design decisions. Completely unusable combat. Fucking horrible because the pixel art is amazing.
with my balls
>>12519498You shouldn't be proud about getting filtered by a game that I as an ESL kid was able to beat.
>>12519840There's many other better games out there to play and only so much time. That game was the only one your poorfag family could afford you so of course you're going to sink all your time in it.
>>12519359It doesn't matter, they're all the same boring game
>>12521014>t. plays 110 hour sleep-inducing jarpigslop
>>12521537But enough about the Mana series.
>>12519359
>>12519359Assuming you already played Final Fantasy Adventure, then you should play Seiken Densetsu 3. Always play every game series in original release order without skipping any entries. Remakes are optional, but if you do play them it must be in proper release order and without skipping the originals.
Trials Thread? Not Quite, Mana Series Thread!
>>12519463>It was the best picture I could find that encompassed the series.Didn't search very hard then did you
>>12519359Seiken densetsu 3 aka trials of mana 2D.It’s the best in the series, then try legend of mana but with a guide.>>12519498Skill issue for sure the combat in sd3 is really slick and fast and responsive with some cool tricks like cancels and double strikes but you suck and have no skill
>>12521672>sd3 is really slick and fast and responsive with some cool tricks like cancels and double strikes but you suck and have no skillIt's actually dogshit. Mana's gameplay is like playing Zelda with 56k internet.
>>12521613FFA and Secret of Mana are barely related. Also, fucking Game Boy to SNES? Such retardation.
>>12521819>FFA and Secret of Mana are barely relatedAny idea what those games are called in their native Japanese?
>>12521819>[game] and [game 2] are barely relatedCool story, bro.
>>12519359legend of mana was great. i would recommend playing through once blind, and then using a 100% guide for ng+. absolutely incredible art and soundtrack. the jumi storyline is the best of the main 3.
>>12521606This
>>12519359Seiken Densetsu 1You have:>GB version (safe choice as it's the original one)>GBA remake (Ishii went retarded with this one as it's more of a reimagination than a faithful 1:1 remake with a bunch of new stuff that feels more like a bloat than some necessary changes and additions)>Vita / mobile remake (actually a 1:1 faithful remake that's using Rise of Mana's engine, which is why it's stuck on these two platforms)I'd recommend either GB or Vita version and then maybe try GBA version once you've beaten other SD titles.I assume by Trials of Mana you meant 3D remake - you can play original SNES version to enjoy multiplayer (if you have friends) and fantastic 2D pixel art, but otherwise you can skip it as remake fixed A TON of legit bugs and some gameplay issues that were present in the original. It might be a good idea to play some modded version of SD3 to get some actual fresh experience.Legend of Mana is Saga title in disguise as Kawazu was behind it. EVERYTHING about it is great... except the gameplay. Your first playthrough will be braindead as the difficulty doesn't exist and a random weapon drop from Tower of Leires will carry you for the rest of the playthrough, and if you bother with higher difficulties (where enemies turn into HP sponges) you'll have to check Tempering tutorials unless you enjoy every fight taking 20-30 minutes. But still, the combat in LoM is bad and flawed - there's a reason remaster added an option to turn off non-scripted fights. Because mash X to win is basically all there is.Skip Dawn of Mana aka SD4. You can watch it on Youtube but don't bother actually playing it.Play Visions of Mana aka SD5.You can try Heroes of Mana (RTS on Nintendo DS) and Children of Mana (grindy dungeon crawler on NDS) but both are very experimental and rough.
