sup /vr/, just finished playing Icodespite its lackluster gameplay it's still a wonderful experience. The world, despite its obvious simpleness, is an eye candy. The story, despite being rather basic, was rather interesting to followI don't know how to properly describe the game while also NOT sounding like a gamejourno, but it was certainly special. I'm going to play Shadow of the Colossus next, is it better gameplay-wise than Ico? What about its atmosphere, is it on par with Ico?
It's a worthy follow up. Enjoy
>>12521274>is it better gameplay-wise than Ico?Easily, although don't expect a particularly deep gameplay experience. Just don't play the broken PS3 port. They somehow fucked up the grip mechanics, making climbing the colossi feel much more slippery, and they refused to ever patch it. It's a glaring issue that messes with the core gameplay task of taking down these giants, making it far less enjoyable than it was before. Stick to the PS2 original.>What about its atmosphere, is it on par with Ico?Stronger. Everything about the presentation is a step above Ico. SotC might have my all time favorite game soundtrack.
