First GG is pretty broken. I first played GGX on a friend's Dreamcast, loved it, and was underwhelmed when I got GG on Playstation a few months later. Still, it has a lot of the concepts that make the series unique, just in a rough state, and I dig the soundtrack.

For me GGX is a huge step-up, where GGX2 and GGX2#R each add a layer a polish to perfect the formula. That's why #R is a peak in the franchise.

Such a cool game. Fun system to fuck around with at all levels and an absolutely insane skill ceiling. Unique characters and a batshit anime story. Even if you just fuck around with training mode and story mode to try the characters its a fantastic game. I love skewering fuckers as Kliff

Update: I picked Sol and made it to Testament, but had to take a break. The game is fun but so fucking hard for a casual fighting game player like me.
