Was he aurafarming?
Reminder "aurafarming" used to be called "showboating" back when we were a real country.
>>12524739that sounds like corny boomerspeak though
>>12524739those are entirely different things, anonshowboating is like teabagging or doing backflips after scoring a goal, not standing around being a performative metrosexual
>>12524803>metrosexualliterally havent heard this term in 20 years
>>12524803what do you do when you stand then?
>>12524850I dress like a typical redneck in my area, so I'm actually concealing my aura
>>12524726His Haircut seems super impractical for a police officer. It literally obscures half of his fucking field of view.
>>12524726>Aura>Rizz>Izzat>BroI HATE zoomer slang so much They will NEVER understand peak SOVL of early 2000s haha pwend noob xDWe didn't even know what looksmaxxing was back then. If you were cool, you were cool. Most guys got laid. Then things because deformed somewhere along the way. The "dominant culture" of the internet changed. If you know, you know.
>>12524906He literally has the Karen haircut lol
>>12524909Lmao
>>12524803>metrosexualThat's because Leon is sexy and depicted on a metro station?
>>12524907this unc cooked fr
>>12524907chopped
>>12524907The funny thing is that most of the slang is pretty old. Like this stuff was all made long ago. I think kids aren't even creating new slang anymore, because there are hardly any new subcultures.
https://youtu.be/ujfPvvpgPXc?si=-qPi2e-aDlZ5WZsEHow true is this? I was born in 2008 so I already grew up with social media. Does growing up without it really makes that much of a difference? Seems exaggerated
>>12525043male elder millennials are the most insufferable fags οf all time
>>12525043>I was born in 2008 so I already grew up with social media. Does growing up without it really makes that much of a difference?Yes. Everything was different. People would go out and do stuff, fuck around, take risks just to do it. You had friends, and you knew them. Now everything is performative and everything you do outside of your home is recorded. There aren't bars and hangout spots anymore because everyone sits online all of their free time.Everyone treats life as a competition now, you've gotta have the fanciest stuff for that perfect photo op. The levels of anxiety are waay higher now across all ages. It's hard to really explain how different it was. We would go miles away from home on random adventures before there were phones and there wasn't this worry that your mom needed to know where you were or what you were doing all the time. When people grow up constantly being monitored, they develop a different more paranoid mindstate.
>>12525043For what it's worth, a lot οf younger millennial and older zoomers in rural areas also grew up without internet, social media, and smartphones. I didn't have non-dial up internet until 2008 and even then it had a daily <1gb limit which made it functionally useless for anything but wikipedia.
>>12525043>>12525814>>12525837>>12525843retro videogames?
>>12525850conversations are free to deviate as they flow, anonthis board has far worse problems than a few dudes waxing about the past in another stupid fucking topic
>>12525814Let me guess, your gf left you for one
>>12525872there was no flow just a link to some youtube video totally unrelated to games you wanted to talk about
>>12525996It's related. OP is using neo internet slang so the topic has generational themes
>>12524726No. He was attracting gay guys like you.
>>12524726More like Cringelord maxing :D
>>12525995Nah I just worked in tech for awhile and found them to be insufferable backstabby bitches
>>12526629Sounds like tech in general. So much lying and passive aggressive backstabbing. It's mostly (forgive me, best explanation I can give) INTJ types who think that, secretly, they are the smartest person to ever live and everyone else must pay.t. 80s millennial software engineer
>>12524739no.
>>12527387Yes it was, Spiccolo. You just weren't around for that.
>>12524739Showboating used to be called peacocking before the country went to hell.
