The Goron Dungeon when you want to get the fierce deity mask at the end of Majora's Mask is so fucking bad, maybe I just suck at this game but it's the hardest part of the game for me despite being entirely optional. Why would they design a mask that rolls around to be going down straight corridors and slamming into chests?

You only really have to hit the first chest perfectly dead-center and you'll be on auto-pilot all the way to the exit. Getting the Heart Piece is trickier, though.

I did figure out the cheese to this, which is just not touching the joystick but even then it's such a horribly laid out dungeon especially for the goron mask. Who thinks to just hold A and not move the joystick anyway?

Yeah it's basically a puzzle in itself. I think it's designed to frustrate players because you instinctively assume you have to take control at all times to keep on track, so at one point you figure out that it works sort of like a pinball machine and you don't need to touch anything after the first hit, so it's an "ooh" realization moment.
I got stuck there for a while too, but eventually figured it out.
I guess they wanted to add an extra challenge in order to get the FD mask, but yeah maybe it was too much considering just getting all the other masks is challenging enough
