I've been curious about AI in this game. Some of the basic strategies like Suketoudara's are well known, but is there any material out there on the larger picture? What drives score players to pick the specific opponents they do?

I have no idea about the whole AI thing. I like to battle only girls up until you're forced to battle Schezo at the end of the game, but that's not practical or anything. I just like to make my own fun after having played the game for over 200 hours.

They actually placed the characters deliberately so you could do this.

I stated doing that after I read this interview lol. It's a fun little challenge since it requires you to clear each floor in the latter half of the game in only 1 stage
