I was just thinking about creating a thread about Spawn wtfI've beaten the snes game, also the horrible ps1. Thinking about the dreamcast game, but it's grindy. Love the ps2 one. I'm not sure about the gbc.I make videos for youtube (tho my update rate is horrendous), I've made a video about the ps1 and snes, next one will be the dreamcast, but idk how to do the script for this one, and later the ps2. The ps2 will be very long tho.I love spawn, but Todd missed the opportunity with making a game similar to the batman arkham series. At least we can still use a mod to replace batman in the arkham knight. Also sekiro has a spawn mod too

Its more of a fast paced third person death match arcade game and it actually is really cool if youre a Spawn nerd because of the sheer amount of characters and weapons in the game Its a lot of fun and the music is cheesy and great. (That intro song kicks ass)

Image was a big deal when it first went down and I was pretty into Spawn, it was definitely a product of its time but I agree writing isn't Toms strong suit. Its actually getting better here recently than its been in years. Theres even a Spawn team book now called The Scorched. Pretty cool. But its story overall has been a mess with lots of retcons etc.

Spawn was the coolest, edgiest shit we had seen back then. We had that one friend who's parents had HBO record episodes for us on VHS and we'd trade tapes and comic issues. He absolutely deserved better video games, hopefully someday we'll get that perfect Spawn game. But where Rob had Fabian Nicieza Todd wanted to do it all himself. And he was allowed to because he was popular enough to pull rank at Marvel and then he called his own shots at image and the sales were good enough that it didn't matter if he was actually good. He's always said art > writing in the industry and he proved himself correct. Which is not a good thing but it's true.He did get better as he went along but that's mostly going from pure ass to tolerable rather than becoming actually good. His first run as a writer on the Spider-Man series was fucking BAD. Like, kid me who thought Todd the artist walked on water and was all about 90's Marvel still died a little inside when reading it. So, so cringe.
