I wouldn't say it's retardedly easy, and there's a bit more "difficulty" if you try to uncover most of the bonus items (definitely a case of "if you're bothering to find these, you're good enough at the game that you don't need them"), but yeah outside of a couple areas and maybe one or two bosses, it's an absolute cakewalk, bordering on a game specifically made for preschoolers. I guess they figured that the The Little Mermaid license would appeal so specifically to girls aka retards that they didn't bother to explicitly market it as an ezpz game.
