Retroachievements are great for finding games (especially romhacks) you've never heard of and also learning new things about games that you thought you knew everything about. If you speedrun a specific game then you probably won't learn anything new, but often the achievements show you a new area you didn't know existed or a new type of movement, etc. Fuck you, just let people enjoy things.
