How does /vr/ feel about cloned wireless controllers?
>>
I would never use a wireless controller for anything pre Gen 6 personally
Also having one more thing to charge is big gay

I have the old 8bitdo blutooth controllers for nes and snes, they are good enough for me to beat the turbo tunnel in BattleToads.
Got the Krikkz 2.4 ghz for Genesis, feels like the same lag, I never see it mentioned but 2.4 Ghz is pretty susceptible to interference from things like electric fans if its in the path.

What are these fucking threads? What are these inane questions?
>>

do all these wireless have built in batteries?
what the fuck happened to AA?

my wireless xbox controller has AA, and whenever the batteries die I just plop new ones in.
good as new,

plus never having to worry about the batter deteriorating and losing max capacity overtime

I know I'm in the minority here but I always preferred wired controllers even for modern controllers. It's one less thing to charge and it's always near my hardware anyway.

You prefer buying new batteries rather than just recharging what you have? That can be really expensive over time.

I'm hijaking this thread.
I don't care if it's wireless or not. I would like something wired for the feel of it, but I also want to feel comfy without worrying about cables.

Should I get a 8Bit Do Ultimate C or another controller to play emulated retro vidya? I recently tried this one and liked it despite prefering the d-pad on top.

Probably a bot or a sub-human trying to collect data for marketing purposes.

i have nothing against them, but prefer to use wired equivalents.

Retard.

You're not the only one. I just can't do wireless. I can feel the latency/lag whatever you want to call it. I don't care what anyone says, it's a thing and it annoys me to no end. Wired controllers, low latency gaming monitors, and runahead are the only things that keep me mostly sane.

Batteries make you gay

Oh? I didn't think they allowed them to work with sharp objects.
