More easy kiddie late NES games that cost you a king's ransom to have the real cartridge.
Cool story bro
>>12537208>not developed by Sculptured Software or OceanThank you oh merciful God.
It's a cute and well-made platformer but clearly for your 6 year old brother in 1992 while you played Streets of Rage on the Genesis instead.
thanks famibot
>>12537208Felix the cat collectibles can be insane. They don't make a bunch of them like Mickey or Bugs Bunny, but he has high demand.
>>12537208also no Famicom release
>>12537208Is this rare? I have it. And yeah, the game is super easy.
>>12537419https://nescartdb.com/profile/view/685/felix-the-catSays that it got two printings so it may be somewhat common.
>>12537412Nope, no Famicom release. Western exclusive. Developed by Shimada Kikaku who made a couple of games for the system.
>>12537208How long does it take to beat this on your 1st sitting? Is it that easy?
>>12537208I was born in 1988, so I appreciated all those late NES. Felix the Cat and Kirby's Adventure were a couple of my favorite games as a young child. Felix might've been the first game I ever beat too, besides maybe Super Mario Bros. I remember being like 4 years, and my parents telling me to finish up playing because we had to leave to go eat at a steakhouse. I was on the final level and beat the game for the first time right before we had to go. The steakhouse was cool too, because it had a Ms. Pac-Man cocktail cabinet.
>>12537208yah but its easily emulatable for free. Great game, cozy as fuck and fun to go for a high score8/10
>>1253878445-60 mins on a first attempt. It's easy but fun.I don't consider this bad, if I had it as kid, i'd have played it over and over, which is what I did with Chip'n'Dales, Astérix, Duck Tales 2, The Smurfs, and other easy NES games I had.
>>12538836If only Rescue Rangers was that easy irl. I made it as far as the fan stage and only after numerous attempts. Three lives and no continues makes this far harder than it would appear at first.
>>12537249Hudson USA evidently commissioned this game but the Japanese guys had moved on to PCE development so they farmed it out to Shimada Kikaku instead. Also note that Hudson didn't have an actual US branch during the Famicom's heyday and all their US releases were published by other companies.
>>12538908oh well, good because they could have gotten on the phone with Software Creations instead>Hello this is Mike from Hudson. We need a NES Felix the Cat game done by Christmas. Can you guys do it?>Blimey, that Felix is a fine chap, I reckon. Sounds like a bloody good game idea. I reckon our lads can fit that into their schedule. We'll get on it, Yank.>game ends up with Felix walking around a giant maze as arpeggio tunes play in the background>collect 500 coins while dodging almost unavoidable enemies>press Up to jump>moving at all consumes energy so Felix has to find bags of crisps and Irn Brus in a hidden corner of the maze or he dies when his energy level runs out
