Things I remember about it:

Bangaa and the other shitty race are completely fucking useless because Viera, Humans, and Moogles get like four turns for every one they get

The skills on equipment things incentivizes massive grinding on a first playthrough when you're trying to browse what skills there are without just reading a guide

And it was really boring

And yes, I liked them but thought the style and tone were slightly too kiddie. The original FFT had a very adult tone, maybe to the point of being tryhard, but when you're a kid you think it's serious shit.

Yeah, I guess. I liked how important the Thief class is if you want to train certain skills early or get good accessories. Getting items depending on where in the map you put landmarks was absolute bullshit, though.

All these games are massive time sinks. It's surreal how much unnecessary stuff gets added in the TO remakes while the original SFC/PSX and Saturn releases are straightforward and enjoyable.
I don't hate FFTA2, but my only gripe is that Gria should be playable right off the bat.

Oh yea. Wasnt a big fan of the bazaar in ffta2. The idea was fine but it was way too slow navigating each item and finding out which ones youve already checked. Instead, it shouldve let you just go through a list of everything you can craft in each group.

Bangaa have two main builds.
>Either you go White Monk and get the Break spell from the Bishop class. Then you have an actual fast Bangaa with that can quickly turn everyone into stone.
>Or you go with a Dragoon with Ultima Sword from the Gladiator class. Ultima Sword used with a spear lets you oneshot two enemies at once.

I think one of the worst aspects of FFXII was how the Ivalice setting is filled with all these weird races and potential for characters and everyone is basically a human. No the rabbit bimbo doesn't count.
